Tyre wear question
Just got new set of coopers stt fitted this morning. Noticed when I was taking off my general grabbers they are significantly worn to the inside of all the Tyres. Any ideas. Alignment seems ok with driving but strange that all Tyres all badly worn.

Do you have any photos / did you rotate your tyres? Would be a bit odd for the camber to be out on all for corners.. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

Only have defender 6 weeks. Not sure if previous owner rotated to be honest. See image. Just concerned, don’t want my Cooper to shread off in the same fashion. Sorry pics not too good

Possibly to much toe out on the front and the tyres have been swapped around DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

My money would be on the tracking being out and the tyres have been swapped front to back rather than getting it sorted.

Defender tracking is so simple it's almost foolproof, but some just get scared when faced with a 4x4.

You can eyeball it for a quick dirty check, or get underneath and use an adjustable length pole between the front and rear edges of the rims.

What ever you do, get it sorted before you wreck your new tyres. If DIY isn't your thing then find somewhere that specialises in truck and vans, the monkeys at Kwik Fit are sure to somehow screw it up!

On steering wheels, wear on the inside edges indicates towing out, on the outside either towing in or sometimes power steering feathering.

Not really sure if you have this on the rears unless they tyres have been repositioned historically to even out the wear… Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Pleased with the 30mm spacers and coopers but get aligned at weekend to be sure!
