I’ve used a lot over the years, by far the best I’ve used so far are Yeti mugs.

I filled one with cold water and ice and forgot about until the following day (24 hours) and it still had pretty much all the ice!

Contigo are also very good budget buys especially from Costco Thumbs Up 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Cheap mug from Tesco, something you would use at home, anything else just makes the brew not worth drinking. Camping mugs are well a mugs game.

That’s a sound piece of practical advice - arguably the most logical thing to do.

It’s a head over heart decision.

Of course if I was a head over heart kind of guy, I’d not be on this forum and driving a eurobox Rolling with laughter

Still liking the look of that Yeti…

Keep them coming Thumbs Up

I've got a couple of alpkit titanium mugs. The smaller one fits in the larger one and they're great if you do events like The OMM where you need your kit to be light as possible.

The wolf boxes for landy camping have enamel kitchenware because I just think they look cool. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Mugs eh...

What are your criteria for a mug? seriously... Rolling Eyes

For me insulation is not important at all.

It must be:

    Lightweight
    Compact
    Strong
    Folding handle
    Lid
    Storage bag
    Easy to clean

Therefore the mug is easy to store, clean and is strong enough to take a hit. The storage bag keeps it all in one place and by touch I can find the mug with very little light, plus it stops things rattling around when in the camp box. As for the lid, that's an essential component as it keeps dust and flies out of your whiskey... Thumbs Up The lidded mug is also the perfect storage space for the fire steel, matches or lighter, so one step closer to a brew and one step further away from rain getting in to the matches Thumbs Up

Had a Defender enamelled tin mug but someone at work nicked it Crying or Very sad

Not really bothered by what mug I use - my camping chuck box has a titanium one I got for my daughter's Duke of Edinborough expedition as she doesn't go camping anymore

Far too many choices…

What have I done?

Opened a mug of worms Whistle

It’s inevitable that I’ll end up buying something completely different to what I originally wanted Thumbs Up

Thanks all.
