Viewranger alternative replacement
My Viewranger app suddenly stopped working when they switched off support, loosing the maps I'd paid for!
The only option they gave was to change to Outdoor Active, the reviews for it are terrible.
OA is a subscription service, or free with adverts, and it's a pain to use off-line.
So I've not bothered to download OA, need to find something better.

Has anyone found a reliable alternative that can hold OS maps for the whole UK offline, with real-time location tracking?
I'm using a Samsung Tab A7.

Thanks.

There is a lot of debate in the search and rescue community as Viewranger has been the goto tool for a number of years...

I've switched to memory map, so far so good over 2 laning weekends. Did give the os app a go but I wasn't really impressed with it.

Thanks for the Memory Map recommendations. Thumbs Up

I've got the app now, will have a play with it before deciding to buy maps.
The cost isn't bad, whole of UK 1:50k Landranger, perpetual licence for £40. - Just noticed that's +vat.

MapyCZ is a useful system that we find useful ... its a free app with mapping which you can save and use off line ...
