United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Firenze Red
[For Sale] Defender 90 Puma TDCI Heritage SOLD
I've put my Puma up for sale, it's a lovely Land Rover but we now have two Defenders and while it would be nice to keep it's pointless really, details are in the ad.
Roof rack now removed, I can send more pictures if needed.
I've been offered close to the asking from a well known dealer so it must be in the right ball park but I'm open to offers.

£SOLD

Nice truck, but to avoid you falling foul of long-established forum rules can I draw to your attention the following:

Forum Rules wrote:
Summary of Rules
...
Items listed "For Sale" MUST have a price stated and MUST be for sale - not potentially for sale.
...
No posts directing people to items for sale elsewhere, whether by a link or item reference (name or number)
...

See here for more info.

I suggest adding the price and removing the Ebay link. Thumbs Up

If a dealer is offering close to your stated price then I'd say it's a bit cheap. They will want to put a hefty profit on it to make money and cover possible warranty claims 110 D250 SE HT

Thanks, they've got a similar vehicle, without the galvanised chassis, for £26,995.
That said I've only had one other enquiry so maybe it's too expensive.

What about some of the auction sites?

Silverstone Auctions, Car and Classic, Collecting Cars seem to be the new kids on the block. I have used Historics with good success.

I would tend to agree £22k seems cheap but then its a niche market.

Lovely looking Defender BTW

This is from the eBay ad.
Quote:
I’ve owned this Defender for nearly two years now. I am a serial Land Rover owner and as such I know a good one when I see it!
I bought this from Cult4x4 in Framingham, Suffolk. It was built by the owner, John, for his wife to use.
If you’re not familiar with Cult4x4 look them up, they build some lovely Land Rovers although most now seem to be going abroad.
This example was built up from a cat D vehicle so it was fully stripped and the original chassis was galvanised along with most of the other items underneath, hence it’s a rock solid base and should last many years, why Land Rover didn’t galvanise the chassis' originally is anyone’s guess!
As far as I’m aware all of the bushes were replaced along with the suspension. Shocks and steering damper are Terrafirma.
A steering guard, front diff guard and rear tank guard were also added.
Onto this the body was built up, the vehicle started life as a van with enclosed rear but Cult4x4 changed the rear tub to the correct station wagon item so forward facing rear seats could be added. The tub cappings are all galvanised and additional galvanised strips have been added to the front doors so cosmetically it looks like an older style Defender and they will not rust in the same way as the painted items do.
Dummy front vents (non opening) have been added to the Puma bulkhead also along with a Heritage style grill to complete the backdated look.
I’ve driven the vehicle nearly 20,000 trouble free miles, the only things that have needed doing were the clutch master cylinder that went just after I bought it (replaced under warranty) and a small section of brake pipe that rubbed against the chassis.
The engine is pretty standard 2.4 Puma. I’ve serviced it every 6000 miles in my ownership and the next service is due at 126,000. I have already bought a service kit so will either service it when due or supply the kit for the new owner.
The vehicle is basically SVX spec;
SVX alloys (I can swap these for black Boost alloys if you prefer).
Electric front windows.
Heated Front Seats
Heated Front screen
Air conditioning
Blue tooth CD/Radio
LED Indicators, brake and side lights
Wipac Crystal Clear Headlights
Mobile Storage Systems Union Jack Cubby lid
Half Leather Seats
Rubber Over Mats
ABS and Traction Control
Remote Central Locking
Immobiliser
Heritage Front Grill (Original Grill supplied if you prefer the standard look.
Front and rear is carpeted and has genuine rubber over mats.

The roof rack pictured is for sale elsewhere so will be removed and I’ll update the pictures asap.
Being formally a van the vehicle is in the cheaper tax bracket than a station wagon but the V5 is showing correctly as 5 seats (5th seat not fitted as there’s a cubby box).
If you require any more details please get in touch.
Price is or near offer from serious buyers who make contact. I think you will struggle to find a better base vehicle. A fairly safe investment as well as very practical transport.
