TPMS retrofit?
Bought a set of the “standard” 20 inch (5094) alloys and like an idiot forgot to check whether they had TPMS sensors fitted. And they don’t.

To be honest I didn’t realise any defenders didn’t have that as standard.

Can I easily retrofit the sensors or is that a whole load of hassle? Cheers, David

I thought TPMS was a legal requirement for all new cars from 2014 on? WARNING.

Yup, Disco Mikey set up a second set on some winter wheels for our DS PHEV. Coded to the car.

If you bought your new wheels and tyres from somebody who has changed them on their own car then they probably kept the TPMS sensors, but it's easy enough to refit them. You can just break the bead and slip a new sensor in and if they are genuine LR ones the car should pick them up automatically after a short drive. I know my tyre guy can supply compatible ones cheaper than the LR ones and he has a machine that can code them to the car Thumbs Up Cheers Ian
