l seriously doubt that this part will come up second hand any time soon.

Where would it come from? The only chance you've got, is from a breakers if someone writes one off in a crash.

I wonder if a body repair shop can order with JLR a replacement for a damaged jumpseat.

Does anybody have information when the Defender jumpseat + clear view mirror shall again become available in the near future as apparently semiconductor supplies to JLR are improving?

Remember it’s not just a centre seat - it needs a seat belt and seat belt tensioning system fitting too…….
Try searching on line for “Land Rover Breakers “ and you might find a written off crash damaged one being broken up. Other option might to contact PowerfulUK as Simon Jefferson seems to have plenty of contacts within JLR. Or if you are feeling very rich then Urban or Kahn might be able sell you one removed from a car they’ve remodelled. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I bought mine in May 21 with the third seat. My dealer made me change the configuration for centre console in december 21. Any body has a clue when they shall announce a specification lock date?
