Fuel Leak Off Pipes
Can anyone tell me the diameter of the fuel leak off pipes on the top of the engine?

I want to buy a length of braided fuel hose but need to get the right size.

(I have seen yo can buy a kit but it's a rip off compared to a metre of pipe!) 2016 D4 HSE

Last lot I bought was simply labelled 'spill off pipe' off ebay.

I think it's 3.2mm, but I no longer have the tdi so can't confirm.

The only leak off pipe I have found which lasts more than a year is genuine Tygon tubing, although it is only available in translucent yellow, which actually doesn’t look too bad against the yellow oil filler and dipstick. More importantly it doesn’t leak or deteriorate whereas rubber and braided rubber stuff just deteriorates really quickly.

Thanks for the tip Oldowner.
I'll try some Tygon next time my motocross bike's fuel hose goes hard. Thumbs Up
