Cleaning LR front spotlights
Hi all,

I have a pair of the Land Rover front spots mounted to my A bar.

These are the OEM type with horizontal plastic grilles over the front, a bit like this:

When I got them one of the lights looked slightly dirty, although I ignored this. However, it now turns out that they leak slightly, letting dirt and condensation get inside the glass lens.

However, I can't work out how to get to the lens. Taking the lights apart only seems to give access to the rear of the reflector, and the front grille/lens appears stuck on.

Any tips? I'd like to remove the lens, clean them properly, then re-seal properly.

I haven't stripped them type but if they're like the safari 5000 type the lens and reflector will be bonded the only way I found to clean the 5000s was to take them apart remove the bulb and swill them out wilth warm soapy water, rinse with cold and allow to dry. Thumbs Up Formerly mao99999
