Bench seats in 90ht?

Just a thought,
How difficult would it be to fit old style 90 bench seats or something similar into the new 90ht.

I have the 2 seater with centre console on order and although very rarely might actually need and extra seat….

Just wondered if anyone out there had had the same thoughts? L663 90ht

Not yet mate, at the dealers on Monday I’m told.

And yes I think legality would be an issue.
It’s not for everyday use, it’s more that odd occasion when a mate needs a lift down to the pub type scenario

Without sounding like a bore….sorry sounding like a bore you would be best to talk to your insurance company first.

They will always base your premium on the ‘worse case’ scenario. In this example three people in a vehicle built and crashed tested for two front seat passengers only.

You might not cause the accident, but with the standard of driving that has deteriorated since the start of covid I would not trust anyone.

Even this morning someone in a Mondeo thought he would try to carve past me at a filter to one lane because I was quicker off the lights that he was without trying.

In the same way I hated the fact that my wife has had to insure various Land Rovers with seven seats even though there has only ever been a maximum of four at any one time.

The police might have a view if you were stopped as well.

In saying that when we were 18 we did get eight of us in a trip back from the pub in my mates Austin Maxi……..

Personally I would strap him to the roof……I think that’s legal as long as he does not exceed the roof weight…….

Emailed and not heard back but not had chance to call. I don't really need it and tempted to leave it now and wait for an electric/hybrid pickup because filling up with diesel is my least favourite thing to do. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews
