Plumbing in auxiliary lighting
Hi guys, I’m planning on fitting a Lazer Linear elite 18 light bar onto my new 110 D250S with the factory upgraded headlights fitted. I’ve figured out how I can mount it etc, I’m just looking for some advice on tapping into the main beam to trigger it.

The wiring cluster that connects into the back of the headlight looks extremely complex and fiddly.. does anyone know of an easier way to achieve this? How do the pro’s do it?

TIA
Mike

Isnt there a kit for it?

Or just wire a complete separate system

Its not a simple wire system anymore Mike

On the lazerlamps website they offer a simple wiring kit. However they also say that if you have the factory LED Matrix headlights you may need their CAN interface. Have a look at their integration kits for more detail. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

If you want Canbus interfaces, Lazer buy theirs from CanM8 and I've used several of theirs recently for various vehicles. Not sure on their compatibility with this new thing but if it uses standard Canbus you should be fine. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Is the Lazer Linear elite 18 the lightbar with the traffic detection fitted so it works the same as the Matrix headlamps? Cheers Ian

Hi Mike, your Defender is really very nice ..

I am also looking for options for additional headlights

Maybe this solution will help?

Let me know if you get an expert to fit the Lazer Light Bar. I'd like to get one fitted to my 90HT but Lazer don't have a local (Central Scotland) installer. 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades
