When you think that this was a presentation to launch a new vehicle where millions have been spent in development etc. you would have thought they’d have presented a more polished effort.

But it wasn't though ~ not in the sense of major manufacturers doing reveals of vehicles never seen out of disguise.
It was just an incremental step that was more about sales and servicing arrangements than the vehicle attributes itself.

It was amateurish in the extreme........ as though it was cobbled together hours before the ‘show’ went live.

I'm expecting that it actually was. In keeping with it not going to be sold from shiny gin palaces, where do you want the money spent, on the vehicle or fancy production values in a video /online event?

Yes part of the incremental steps etc. but to me the Ineos Grenadier team appeared more than a little bit nervous in their presentation.
I just got the impression that they’re not as far forward as they’d like us to think they are!

Still.......I’d love to own one more than the new Defender.........I probably won’t though as the price is beyond my reach.

Read #4 again. That's nuts. And incredible.

It seems it was too good to be true, scanning the website for updates (didn't see anything) and noticed the careful wording here:

Thanks Supacat. I wondered how the words would be smithed on that one.

Still, even the watered down language is a far cry better than every other manufacturer of cars on the planet. I can't remember the last time I even heard Ford or GM talk about how easy it is to service their cars! It will be interesting to see how successful they are long-term.
