Numbers climbing nicely ~ I'll look at a way of incorporating them and presenting them tomorrow. Thumbs Up

Still undecided. I have gotten used to the look of the front and, really like what Ineos are doing with this vehicle.

I'll have to make a choice soon. The way the world has been if you don't pull the trigger, you could be waiting another 18 months for something or paying a huge mark up. I have only just after 11months managed to buy a PlayStation 5 for my son, and for that I had to use a Twitter alert that used BOTs to find stock!

This is what I'll go for if I pull the trigger.

Update:

X axis is now counting days from when the reservation system went live to "hand raisers"; Day 15 (14th Oct) is when the reservation system goes live for everyone else.

Y axis is now an absolute number intended to be the actual number of reservations taken. I have taken the confirmation numbers to begin with #: 0005262XXX; simply because nobody has reported a number lower. If the count does start at say #: 0005260XXX then that's 2,000 additional reservations to add to the total.

It will be interesting to see what format the reservation/confirmation number is for those reserving from 14th October.

So I have to say it. It leaves them with the problem that they already have enough orders to take them to 2024 based on their stayed ramp up of 3K 2022, 6K 2023. A nice problem and they have said they can increase assembly production. Getting more engines and gearboxes may be one of their bottlenecks. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

Are you quoting UK supply numbers? The reservations system is, as far as we have seen so far, global.

As a start-up, it is exactly the situation you want to be in. You have better control of cost, quality, and pricing. Using Ford as an example, Ford had 165,000 ppl deposit 100 dollars for an opportunity to purchase the Bronco. Ford is now struggling to meet owners' demand because they still have to build other models too. People who were told they would get their models in MY21 are now being told this week they will not receive delivery until MY22. One of the biggest issues is they did not do a strong enough job in securing ceartin parts.

Ineos, has only one model to build and can state to the manufacture of a part that you can guarantee 3k widgets in 2022 and 6k widgets in 2023 if they can meet you at a set price. The parts manufacture will take that all day as they know that they have a set income coming in no matter what happens.

I think ppl ordering today will not see their model until MY24.

Do you mind sharing the first part of your invoice number?
