Hi Ian, glad you like it and it does look smart. I'd be interested to see the loadspace led upgrade as the factory ones are poor. Did your vehicle not come with mats as standard?
I can't understand why some vehicles have colour coded windscreen pillars and some are black? Mine are black.

In other news I'm collecting THE white one on Monday.

Cheers Jeremy, I'll let you know when I've installed it, from what I've seen it makes a big improvement and I would imagine the effect is even great in a HT. Mine came with carpet mats which would last long after being in a muddy forest so went with the deep sided rubber mats.

Can't wait to see some photos of the new 'beast' Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

If it has the coloured square then it gets colour coded pillars. I didn’t spec the square on my 90 so I get black pillars.

ginjez has black A pillar covers as his is a commercial, it seems that all the commercials come with black A pillars, I was just going to buy a set of commercial ones but as they are about £100 a side I've decided I'm just going to wrap mine Whistle Laughing Cheers Ian

Well done your accessories. Looks good. Thumbs Up

how much space is behind the little box in the fridge?

Can you easily get things out of it as the lid just opens 1/3? 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)

There isn't a lot of room if the truth be told and I haven't put anything in it yet Laughing The only reason that it's there is because I ordered some stuff from Aliexpress in China and the seller messaged me and asked if I would like to add it to the order for an extra £5 so I just said yes as I was curious to see what it would be like. It may come in useful for somewhere to store my licence and insurance etc. Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Well been away for the past week visiting family in the Lake District and have now done approx 1200 miles without any real problems, I'm loving driving the car and the Matrix LED headlamps on the dark country roads are absolutely brilliant Very Happy (and nobody has flashed at me Laughing ) The only problem I am having is the remote start not working as detailed in this thread.

I did the Old Coach Road last week on a fantastic day weather wise

Had a bit of time today so installed a new small cb and the Raised Air Intake. The cb was very easy to install as it is only velcroed to the underside of the centre console, the main controls are all on the microphone, I've installed an aerial using a RLD mount but am looking for a better way to route the wire down into the car. I have just installed a cheap aerial as I am away in Northumberland/Cumbria and Durham green laning this weekend, I had ordered a new SIRIO TURBO 5000 aerial but didn't read the website properly and it turned up without a connector on the cable and I can't get one locally. Crying or Very sad

I installed the RAI myself and didn't take the door off as per Land Rover's instructions, it can be done but a child with very small hands would come in useful to secure the bottom two bolts, fat arthritic hands make it difficult.

Another little job done today, replace the front and back silver Defender badges for gloss black ones from New Defender Parts, perfect match for the original ones and comes with a template to make fitting easy Thumbs Up
