Genuine exhaust part numbers - superseded by final spec?

Hi everyone.

I'm looking to buy a replacement exhaust for my 2010 90 SW (2.4). I'd prefer a genuine parts one if possible.

I think the front section is fine, so its just the centre box and tail box/pipes.

Looking through LR workshop, the part numbers are there - but they seem to have been superseded once or twice.

The centre box was part number WCE500480, which was superseded by LR040909 and superseded again by LR066089.
The tail pipes and box were part number WCG500070 which was superseded by part number LR066423.

So, the new part numbers: LR066089 (centre silencer from EA) and LR066423 (Rear Pipe and Silencer - From EA - Except AUS) are pointing me to actually use the exhaust system from the last-of-the-line 2.2 TDCI defenders.

Now, this is good news as I can buy both parts as take-offs from LRMotors/Twisted for a very reasonable price. These have been taken off the some of their brand new 2015 2.2 defenders that they bought in bulk from Land Rover before the end of production prior to them having fancy exhausts or engine upgrades for their Twisted builds.

But, before I order them - can I check if my logic makes sense - or can anyone force any issues with taking a later centre and tail box and expecting it to bolt right up to an earlier front downpipe/cat as well as engaging correctly on the 2010 2.4 chassis mounts?

I'm bothered about compound errors - one component being a few mm out of spec and two making a bad situation worse.

I realise that a lot of people will recommend a stainless system, but I'm not a massive fan of basic stainless systems (the noise, reduced diameter bends and some rust on lower quality stainless) and don't have the budget to buy one of the more expensive systems - so I'll be sticking with Genuine.

If I'm not mistaken, TDCi exhausts are even interchangeable with TD5 's.
Have certainly seen take off parts advertised as such.

This is non genuine Rear Section, says it fits td5, 2.4 and 2.2

A bit more digging shows the same mid section fitting both 2.4 and 2.2 puma, but possibly may not fit a TD5.

Down pipes look to be different for all 3.

Have took the chance and ordered one LR066089 (centre silencer from EA) and one LR066423 (Rear Pipe and Silencer from EA).

I don't know what we'll do when the "take off" parts dry up. I recently got some lights from LR Motors and they said good ones were getting harder to find. Exhaust supply should be OK for while yet, the original ones last a long time, probably not worth buying one just to put away.
I should have bought a new set of boost alloys while there were loads around for a really good price.
