Engine bay fuse box
I have the AMR2983 fuse box in my 300tdi and want to use the spare f4 for a feed to fog lights (I don’t have a HRW so f4 is spare). New wires and relays all run and working but I cannot remove the skinny wire from f4 to replace with a suitably sized wire.
Any idea how to remove the old HRW wire? The crimp looks like it should come out if a clip or pin is pushed in the right place but I have tried with no success and don’t want to force it and break it. Any ideas?

Yep, there's a tang on the back of the connector which needs to be pressed whilst gently pulling on the appropriate cable to remove from the fusebox.

Where are you located... Bucks/Northants border can't be too far from me!

Ok - I’ll have a *gentle* poke and play. Thanks.

Hanslope BTW.

Drop me a PM if you struggle as I have a tool for extracting them and I'll wander down later in the week if you need...
