Anyone mounted a NextBase Dash Cam yet?
When my Defender arrives one of the little jobs to do is putting my Nextbase 622GW into it from my D3. The quality of the footage in 4K is brilliant.

I have seen that Powerful UK have a tap in loom adaptor (currently out of stock) but has anyone just used the standard Nextbase hardwire kit to plumb it in?

Simon,

Dealer fit @ PDI so it has a 3yr warranty.

Had it as a package of dealer fit stuff so price was good.

Any accessories fitted at delivery or within 30 days gets the same warranty as the car.

Hi mate,

I’m searching for info on how to forward on footage from the LR dash cams (to insurance company for example).

I’m really pleased with the image quality and the app is easy to use, but once you download footage to your phone it can only be viewed in the App. If you use the SD in a laptop I can’t view the rear camera as there is no option in Quickplayer on our Mac.
I can’t seem to find a player in Apps that gives you the option to view both cameras, or am
I missing something in the App?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, JC

Appreciate, this is 6 weeks old and I haven't even used the app but I would use the screen recording function if you can't find a way to transfer it off your phone. Start recording, playback the video, stop recording and finally trim the video using the photos app.

This assumes you're an iPhone user but I'm sure it's just as easy on Android.

Cheers, works perfect! I did use the record function in Qickplayer on a MacBook with phone connected viaUSB but this is much easier. I think picture quality is great on the LR Dashcam.
