Were Sawtooth alloys factory or aftermarket?
I bought my 2012 110 second hand with Sawtooth alloys already on it.

Was this wheel a factory option or were they only ever fitted as aftermarket wheels? 2012 USW Keswick Green 110

They are a factory wheel, first introduced on the X-Tech special edition but later offered as a mainstream option. Darren

Mine are genuine , fitted during the build at the factory. On the inside of the wheel the name Land Rover is part of the casting. There are non genuine aftermarket ones, but I expect they don’t have the cast Land Rover name, unless they are counterfeit ones of course.
There are a few threads on here’ regarding sawtooth wheels, showing the different versions available to buy. This was due to people having concerns over the strength and durability of some version on the market.

I was on the market for sawtooth earlier in the year, so did some research at that time and aggregated the following :
- 18-inch : the only genuine 18-inch Sawtooth is the Diamond Cut one (LR123935), so all other 18-inch Sawtooth alloys that you see are therefore aftermarket ones.
- 16-inch : as Ianh says, if genuine, then Land Rover name is casted on the inside.

Aftermarket : there seem to be two main aftermarket ones :
- the ones distributed by Britpart. They are the thick spoke profile type, load rated 1000k and ET20 for both 18 and 16-inch. Interestingly they appear on Britpart 17th edition catalog but are not to be found anymore in their latest 18th edition catalog.
- the ones distributed by Bearmach, 4x4 tyres (and I am tend to believe John Brown Wheel as well). They are the thinner spoke profile type, load rated 1050k. The offset in which they are available is not crystal clear to me, with either ET10 or ET20 being stated in different places.

I personally have a 18-inch set of black ones sourced through Bearmach which are ET10. ET10 being the reason I went for those, as I wanted to dump the spacers I had with the boost alloys previously, and keep a similar stance and turning circle on the 110.

Excuse my ignorance but does that mean if you jack one complete axle off the ground, the remaining 2 wheels supporting the full weight are at or just over their load capacity? Richard

If you jack up one complete axle, then it is the jack itself that supports the weight of the said axle.
It does not change the weight being supported by the 2 wheels on the other axle.

To determine the wheel load rating requirement, you need to apply a reasoning per axle, by taking the manufacturers maximum axle weight and divide it by two.

Let's say the maximum weight on the rear axle of my 110 CSW is 1750kg as per JLR spec, then the load rating of each wheel should be 1750/2=875kg minimum.

The OE LandRover sawtooths are rated for 1000kg, 16x7 ET20. And Made in Germany.

Not forgetting of course that if you load the vehicle to max axle capacity and then cross-axle it, the two wheels carrying the weight will each as near as makes no odds be carrying the full axle load of their respective axle.

It shouldn't be an issue on an occasional basis, however, since I have no doubt that there will be a safety factor of at least 2 in the wheel loading maxima figures.
