Back in a defender, Hard Top ordered

couldn`t resist gone for :-

Met. Black
Premium LED headlights with signature DRL
Digital cockpit display
18" grey wheels with off road tyres will put some BFG AT`s on it
3rd Seat
black pack
classics flaps

Not blown my brains on it, but should look good

Changed the spec slightly

Had the bigger screen for £140 and took away the digital cockpit. Didn’t think it represented good value

Had a play with it and thought the analogue would be fine 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15

I would definitely reconsider that - the full digital dash is excellent and well worth the money.

can`t have large screen now so stuck with digital dash, 10th sept lead time 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15

Why can't you have the larger screen? Is that because your order is locked now or is it down to the worldwide chip shortage? The larger screen does seem to have disappeared from the configurator

Yeah, you can configure it to show the same info as is available on the digital cockpit (excluding the analogue dials obviously). Main difference is the screen real estate, meaning that you can only configure one type of info (map, media, speed etc) to show at once, whereas on the cockpit you can have views showing multiple types of info simultaneously across a bigger screen area.

I had the same idea as you and went for the standard dash - not regretted it at all.

Won’t let dealer add it to my order it’s not on their system anymore 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15
