[For Sale] 'Defender' spare wheel cover plate
For those who missed out on J_Defenders':

'Defender' spare wheel cover plate, painted in keswick green with some white overspray, though I suspect the later will buff off.

No cracks to the wheelnut recesses.

Do these only fit original steel wheels or alloys as well?

Good question! I'm not sure to be completely honest, I think it would depend largely on the type of alloy.... 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

Good luck with the sale. I am pretty sure they only fit with steels, but not 100% sure on it. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

They do only fit steel wheels.
And the one I bought off forum member J Defender is a pile of junk.
All the lugs on the back were broken. Something he forgot to mention in his add. Sent a message via WhatsApp but no reply.

Sorry to hear that Ijk10, I hope he gets back in touch and you can resolve things. I've had nothing but positive experiences on this forum, so hopefully it's a one off.

As for the cover, I'd be happy to let you have this at a reduced price if you still want one. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

Thanks buddy.
And thank you for the offer but I don't have the money to buy another and can't really use the one I just bought without some modifications to fix the holding lugs...👍

Sorry to tag onto your sale thread, Shroppy, but I guess you've got a free bump Smile However I've only just seen the comments above, so to add;

I was away for my wedding anniversary at the time of Ijk10's message. Responded to Ijk10 shortly after with an offer for partial refund which was accepted, subsequently sent and acknowledged received later that day. Matter considered resolved by the 11th.
