I wasn't too sure what colour the block was going to be as many are entirely Cummins red, so thank you for reminding me of this - had it noted somewhere on my lengthy excel spreadsheet to colour match the rocker covers Laughing Thumbs Up

Not even bought the paint yet as I'm unsure how many litres I'll need for it all or even if the finances will be immediately available to do it during the rebuild, somewhat dependant on a few things and if there are any unexpected surprises Confused

Better get my ass in gear and post an ad for my rebuilt 2.4 motor Smile Stuart

Quick question to any 130 owners reading this thread; how big is the gap between the rear bulkhead of the cab and the front of the tub, assuming there is one at all? Just trying to think things out for routing cables and hoses in advance Thumbs Up

Cheers Stuart

^^^ I suspect that they were only a bargain because they fit a six-bolt hub of a size that appears to be unusual in the UK. Add in the cost of (possibly bespoke) hub adaptors and they might not be such a bargain.

Very cool wheels, all the same!

Yup, hub adapters have been quoted at 550, still happy enough,

I did some research with Hutchinson they were from a prototype fitted with merc portal axles...

Thanks again James Thumbs Up what is wanting to hear!

I'm still waiting to hear back on a tub from a forum member but it's looking like the Bahama Gold respray may be possible, especially given the fact that the tub is Keswick green but, fingers crossed!

As for the engine I may be taking delivery of it at the end of the week, just need to get my Censored together.

As for you sailor boy, what be these Hutchison's going on? Surely not the slammed 90? Stuart

An even more exciting idea than hub adaptors, portal axles! That could be your answer.
