Scotland 2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Indus Silver
Alarm going off for no reason
I have a 2011 Defender 90 hardtop with 2.4 Puma engine - alarm has been going off for no reason and my first thought is suspect courtesy door light switches. Rear door is prime culprit as interior light does not always go on when door opened - seems erratic. Anybody had this problem? Zapper battery is up to date and main vehicle battery seems ok. Thanks.

Had the same problem recently - solved by forum member landy andy -

I had a lazy drivers door actuator years ago that would unlock the car and sound the alarm." Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.
