Uproar 4x4 Stealth Rock Sliders.
Just after comments regarding fit, finish and longevity. Thinking about a set for my 110, but they are pricey. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

So the paint/powder coat seems to stay attached to the stainless? Stainless is normally is normally a nightmare for coatings 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Be aware of one potential fitting problem. Most of these rock sliders have a tube at the rear which slides in to the rear outrigger tube. I have Uproar Hurricanes and I had a mother of a job getting this tube to slide in to my outriggers. I had conversation with Uproar over the close tolerance and no allowance for older outriggers that aren't as new. They said all their rock sliders fit this way.

I was fortunate in having a milling cutter just the right size to stick on a drill and wack it up and down both outrigger tubes to clear out the wax protection and heavy underlying rust. It took some effort, and I still had to cut a couple of inches off the tube to allow it to go in far enough [Uproar's suggestion] assisted by grease and a hammer. Otherwise my only option would have been to cut off the outriggers and weld on new ones.

Is that the same for a 110? Not familiar with the outrigger tube. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

No, that is a problem unique to the 90; 110 and 130 vehicles do not have the tubular outrigger.

Oy! My tubes aren't crusty. It's internal patina.

I make galvanised one's for 110's, but trying to get a courier to take them to the Mainland is impossible, so i just do them for local customers.
