Interesting that the rubber boot mat now has a fabric bumper protector that folds under the mat when not in use. My mat, which was supplied last June, doesn’t even have any way to attach the fabric bit to. Not that I really need the bumper protector as so far the local dump hasn’t re-opened and I’ll have so much to take to it I’ll use my trailer instead and I don’t own any dogs yet. And the amount of junk to dump would mean 3 or 4 trips in my 90

I got one with my car, it's got the flap attached.

What happened to the old days when a Defender owner would cut up a piece of tarpaulin for load space protection and cut up some stable matting for car mats.......you youngsters........ Whistle

A big piece of heavy rubber approx £20 from Amazon, roughly cut to shape. A bit crude but keeps the worst off

I knew the Defender was good on side slopes, but that’s impressive Laughing

£60 for NDP boot mat in mine but I like the idea of protecting the back seats so may look into getting a roll. 23.5MY 90 D250 X-Dynamic SE, Pangea Green
