United Arab Emirates 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 LXV Hard Top Santorini Black
Electronic Active Differential
Hello everyone,

Spoke to the dealer regarding the 22" Wheels and was told if i opt for the 22" wheels it cant be optioned with the Electronic Active Differential, and was told that i should opt for the 20" ones if i want one.

But it seems that i can choose the 22 inch wheels with the Electronic active differential in the configurator.

Am i missing something? 2014 Defender LXV

Buy the car on 20” with the e-diff then go aftermarket for the wheels or order them separately and stick 2 fingers up to the dealer who it appears doesn’t know what he’s selling. Are you buying from the official Emirates LR dealer? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Your dealership is wrong you can order any wheels with the electronic active differential. I’m not sure where he got that information from but loads of defenders have been delivered with both.

Yeah I wouldn’t take much notice of what the sales staff tell you they are not very well clued up on the new Defender just the basics. Mine didn’t even know the rear door was soft closing, he even disputed it wasn’t when I was collecting the car for handover so I showed him lol he said I’ve learned so much from you during the time from order to delivery.

What model are you thinking of getting?
