M57 or OM606 into td5? Which is better?
Really considering loads of options for putting a different engine into my td5.
The OM606 seems relatively simple with diesel pump uk offering just about everything u need it seems
The M57 looks to be a nicer engine with more power and torque but then again it would probably rip through the r380 quicker...i would like to keep the r380 if possible but 6-speed manual BMWs are almost impossible to find so I would probably have to keep it anyway...
Any ideas? Anyone got any data for power and torque numbers and which one is easier or nicer?
Any info would be appreciated...

everyone also talks about rallyraid looms for putting the m57s in
I understand that this makes the engine run but how does connecting everything else up so that the defender is useable as a daily driver?
also people talk about using a p38 bellhousing, do you need a specific one and why does this work?
