Yep. I think combination of the gear shaft and seal hardening and wear on mine.

Just got round to it.

Same as yours! The shaft isn’t too bad but I think I’ll change it anway while I’m there.

Aaaaah that's no good Stefan, you can't put your old bits on a TV Times, you have to take shots of it on the Haynes manual or a LR publication! (Mug of tea optional) Rolling with laughter

Glad you got it sorted.

Ours was definitely shaft plus seal. We've changed seal before and not solved it. Changed shaft and it's not leaked since. Thumbs Up

Called the local stealership today and they only do the oil seals in packs of 5 and o rings in packs of 10 and at stealership prices there’s no way I’m doing that.

Been trying to get through to duck worth’s but it seems impossible. Who did you contact there? Have you got an email address?

Thanks

Thanks Dorset, managed to get through to duckworths in the end, apparently had computer issues today hence not being able to get through.

They’re willing to split packets and sell single items 👍

How the Censored did you pry the Censored Censored out of the transfer box? I tried some time last year and failed.

Edit: Oh, child of an unmarried couple is filtered. Sad 2003 90 TD5 Hardtop

A small screwdriver was sufficient for me. Someone else mentioned using a wood chisel.
