Retrofit rear seats from 90 into hardtop commercial
Has anyone attempted to retrofit the rear seats back into the hardtop 90 commercial?

Why would you do that?

If you want the seats buy the car - it’s cheaper?

It’s nice to have the option to use seats when needed although 90% of time will be used as a van,

Then buy a 90 with seats and take them out in such a way they can easily be refitted

Though make sure however you do it, that they would not fly out of their mounts in a crash! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

There looks like about 8 torx bolts holding all the rear seats in, on my 110. And they are featherweight compared to the iron framed cantilevered all singing all dancing Discovery seats! I took the rear seats out of my D3 to go to Morocco, and it was a major heavy task! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

ISTR there is a video from PowerfulUK (?) that shows what it’s like with the seat bases removed. The one where he’s explaining how to get your phone out from under the seats.

That’s a 110 not a 90

The 90 rear seats are raised compared to 110 hence the cross bar

So I assume the MHEV stuff is located there somewhere
