Does JLR have any plans to follow this excellent example?

Ive ordered a car for my birthday in March & they send you updates & photos of your car being built live at different stages of the production line.
Here it is.. Can you guess the model?

Land Rover go one better, we went to watch our Full Fat being built. Excellent day particularly as they took us across the road to see the last of the defenders being built. Was nice to see where our TD5, IIa and 101 had been built.

With live web cams and the fact JLR send you a pre inspection video link prior to service or warrantee work I can’t see why not.

It would certainly make the buying experience more personal to the individual.

I suspect Industrial Espionage risk would prevent this - I had a tour of the EMC a few years back and ISTR they were sh*t hot on "no photos" (as they were many many many moons ago at the old ICL Manufacturing Plant I used to work at in the 80's). Steve N | 21MY Defender (on order) | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
