Paddock Spares Sawtooth - Any experience?
I am considering buying a set of 5 sawtooth wheels from paddock spares: https://www.paddockspares.com/16x7-saw-too...black.html

has anybody purchased them / feedback about them?

I'm also curious as to how I could ensure compatibility with my Defender (2009 Puma 2.4 TD4, currently on wolf tires that I'll likely refurbish for future use).

If its the wheels in your pictures, they are not wolf wheels, they are standard L/R wheels.

If you buy these I’m keen to know how you get on, I have a lovely set of 5 mint SVX alloys but they are silver and I want black, not sure that SVX look good in black so sawtooth are my preferred alternative.

Would you keep us updated pls Thumbs Up Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Personally I would be hesitant to go for an alloy wheel from an unknown source. Of course, these are Britpart supplied, but where does Britpart get them from? Do they get them from the OEM?
There are a lot of aluminum alloys, so be sure you get one that will stand up for the forces that a wheel is subjected to. Having said that, I have never heard a sawtooth parting a Defender. But I would not want to be the first.

I like the Sawtooths very much, but for me, the originals are a bit pricey, so I will stick with the original Boost alloys for the time being. For my other 90, still being restored, I however bought wolf replicas. Steel is more forgiving, so replica steel rims are ok. Probably the paint is not as good, but the original Landrover wolfs seem to rust anyway. Not that it compromises their integrity with such heavy gauge metal. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

So I got quoted £658.69 for 5 wheels, inc VAT and shipping costs. I might need to add a bit of custom fees (I live in Switzerland) but this seems like a very good deal.
I'll probably go ahead and send pictures back, the plan is to couple them with some BFG KO2 AT - I'm looking around for sizes now

edit: pity that the special edition / v8 works-style is not available in 16 https://www.paddockspares.com/special-edit...-18x8.html
I don't think 18in fit a defender, but that's just me
