To be fair, most double cab pickups are also over the limit and I suspect blissfully unaware.

There's clearly something going on behind the scenes when it comes to LCV's having reduced speed limits. My previous DMAX was just under the 2T weight limit and was not subject to them, but I know of others (with Rangers) who knew full well the implications of their overweight double cabs.
