the Yorkshire gent in Canada on a FB post (shedlock2000 on youtube) suggested these are ice scrappers built into the

D5 rear calipers i was informed, should have the same stopping power as the P400 brakes, just a different shape,
uses the same brake pads even.. i am just not comfortable with fettling with the brakes to be honest. yet another pommie bar steward down under
