Does waze work on infotainment screen
Just wondering if waze will work with the infotainment screen?

It works with the centre scree but not the dash screen from what i have seen / read.

No it doesn’t show in the info screen in the drivers dash screen, only the built-in navigation maps display there. So far I haven’t been able to mirror anything in the dashboard screen that LR doesn’t want me to see! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I wonder if the phone has to be plugged in rather than WiFi? On our work vans that is the case (vw?)

Yes - Waze works through CarPlay or Android Auto so you’ll need the phone plugged in.

I’ve seen people using those wireless CarPlay adaptors with success, though I can’t really see the point of them.
