France 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
... This recall was related to injection points
Not related to Defenders since JLR run another firmware

https://garage.wiki/ford/transit-van/fourt...rvals.html

But, in deed, it concerned the 2.2 tdci EU5 engine, which seems to react more sensitive on mods

I had the same problem on my 2.4 year 2010 and 95.000Km. Hole on piston No. 3.
All injectors worked OK after tested.
There is a well known problem on transit vans and there are a kit to rebuild the engine, including 4 pistons, gaskets, oil pump, etc

Australia 2015 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Alpine White
If you search the Toyota Forums here in Australia they have a dedicated one to cracked pistons.
They look remarkably similar in design and failure to the Land Rover ones.
