I'm a great fan of Blackvue dashcams having run one for nearly 10 years, but I think you should have gone into more fitting detail - just waving down the car saying "tucking in the wire" or saying "tidying the wire" after really doesn't cut it for me. Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Thanks for the feedback, but it’s not a “fitting” video. It really is just a case of tidying the two wires. The headliner is the cable tray. ----

Did you route the cables and tidy it up yourself?
Was it easy/hard to get into the headliner etc? I'm guessing you will be taking this across to your new defender when you get it. Would love to see an install video of you have the time.

I followed this video to install my Blackvue DR900S-1CH. It was very straightforward to fit. 1981 Series III 88 Santana Especial

Good video? Did we watch the same one?

That was the ramblings of a man who just likes the sound of his own voice, not helpful advice. And the dashcam was badly positioned - it needs to be at a part of the windscreen that's cleared by the wipers otherwise it'll quickly not be able to see a thing.
