Rear door 2004 90 power problems

Hi.

I’ve just bought a CSW 54 plate 90.
Trying to get the rear wiper motor and central locking motor to work.

Replaced both but no joy.

I have no power to either motor plugs, even traced back to the rear wiper switch
Nothing. I do have power to the 6 way plug. But the switch has nothing to that plug. Sa

Does anyone know if I possibly have a dead relay or any idea where I should start?

Rear wiper motor

1. check earth wiring between door and door pillar common frailer in rubber flex ( black arrow )

2. fuse 10 passenger compartment fuse box feeds the rear wiper cct also make shore you 12v volts to the fuse feed from ignition switch white wire

3. check engine end chasse loom plug down under coolant header tank

Central locking motor to work.

1. Are all the other central locking motor ?

2. check for power when opiating central locking at plug ( red arrow ) pink and orange wiring runs up D post and over too driver side under head lining at A past driver side gray plug

3. if you have power when opiating central locking at plug ( red arrow ) again check wiring in between door and door pillar common frailer in rubber flex ( black arrow )

Checked the fuses, all seem ok.

Didn’t know about the plug under the header tank. I’ll try that next!! Cheers!!

Quick update.
So... this may be the main culprit.
Still no power to the rear wiper. But with the help of the wiring diagrams I’m tracing it down slowly!!

As Dorsetsmith says in point number 1, check the loom inside the rubber flexi tube between the door and the body. I had one wire broken and a few others where the insulation had cracked on my 2005 TD5 Defender. It is repairable if you have a soldering iron and some shrinkwrap tubes.

Hey guys.

Just a quick update.

So we found 5 broken wires, 1 seized wiper motor, 1 knackered switch, bad connections in a plug, and a partridge in a pear tree!!

Thank you to you all for your help and input!!
Rear door power is back on and everything is working again!
