Looks well put together.

We rented a similar one a couple of years back, but it was a 4 berth so the kids could ride in the back.

To be honest, its a very different experience to driving a 'normal' 110 or 130 even. The width was a pain on country lanes, the length and visibility made maneuveuring in town a pig and the body roll had to be watched...

It got plenty of attention on camp sites however Smile

It looks nicely built, but every time I see one of these I can't help but feel that there are more suitable starting points for a small overland camper than a Defender, even a 130. It's bloated and pushing the limit for the chassis.

A small 'Mog or similar would have been a better place to start from, and would produce a less stressed and more durable vehicle.

I agree, they’re are much better suitable vehicles for this sort of set up, but they perhaps don’t have the novelty value the converted pulse does
