Is this a wading plug

Sorry for what might be a stupid question, but is this a hole for a wading plug, or am I in trouble. I think a td5 has two wading plugs, but this one is much smaller than the other wading plug hole. Can someone please educate me?

There are no wading plugs on a Td5.

I'm pretty sure the one in the center of the picture is a wading plug, no?

There are no “additional” wading plugs to put in place on a Td5 😆😉

I believe it's not entirely necessary to plug it when wading. Does anyone know what size the timing hole is?

I’ve been doing serious off roading, wading, river crossing, swamp traversing and generally wet terrain driving for 30 + years, I have never put in a wading plug and never had any issues with the clutch or any bearings. 🤷‍♂️ 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

The best use for the wadingplug is to keep the oil in if you have a little leak along your crankshaft seal.
Make sure you let the oil out regularly.
