Follow the workshop manual procedure for bleeding it.
It is in there, there is a bleed valve that needs to be opened during the process and then closed after to a specific low torque as it’s plastic. It’s not over complicated at all, but you really need the WSM. Thanks fella. I have looked at that and can’t get my head around the part when it is warmed up to temp for the final bit. I’d the engine running or not ?

Yes, the engine is running and must be revved at a certain sustained RPM for a set period of time and up to temperature.
As it’s so cold at the moment that’s a bit of an issue, but I would say do the procedure to the best of your ability. Then go for a short drive with fluids with you so she’s up to temp and check l, top up of required and repeat and keep an eye on it. I only did have to top up once. It’s not too much of a job and I used Inugel Optimal Pre mix coolant, and ran a tiny bit cooler after which is a good thing. The reason why I say take the fluids with you is not just because of possibly requiring it but also as proof of you needing to use it. Ideally you could do with doing it before you need to go food shopping for example though in these strange times! As I mentioned, the WSM has the details in and the heater needs to be on too I just remembered there are things like that. I also drained from the thermostat hose too and not off the fuel cooler, it was easier and quicker. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️
