Was swapping out my original interior bulbs for LEDs (link below) and ferrite rings to hopefully negate any interference with the DAB. The front one was fine (once I managed to get the mounting nuts back on to the light mounting - talk about a fouter!*) Tested all three new festoons whilst I was there and they all worked.
Went to the back, progress hampered by no.1 child arriving home from school without no.2 just as I was wrestling with the aforementioned light mount bolts. Anyway once all kids were home safe and sound and in the gathering gloom of a Scottish afternoon I went back out to the car. Got the ferrite clip on, tried the new LED festoon and nothing. Tried the front and it wouldn’t come on now either. Out of curiosity I tried to put on the stereo but that wouldn’t come on either. At this point I decided it was getting too dark and needed to go inside and start making the family tea. And before I smashed stuff. What have I done? Have I blown a fuse? It sounds like you've accidentally shorted one of the lights by bridging the live to the metal backing plate, as this is the earth point. As DAZ110 says, they're on the same fuse as the clock and radio.

Yeah, it’s pretty easy to blow that fuse.
The interior light frame is ground and you only need to touch a contact and that with a metal screwdriver and it will pop a fuse. That is likely what happened, you’d have been best off disconnecting the battery first or at least unplugging the connectors on the rear. Easily done - so I think Daz is likely right there. Are you looking in the fuse box under the cover underneath the steering wheel? Fuse 29 10amp. Can’t remember which one that is in the photo though. Pull the 10amps until you find the right one.
