Rear seat noise
Hey guys, I just got a brand new my20.5 Defender 110 HSE. No issues thus far but I am
Noticing a squeaky noise coming from the back seat headrest area.. has anyone noticed this and if so is there a fix for it? It's annoying as hell if there's no music on!

Is the seat backs rubbing on anything?

No, it's definitely coming from where the head rest inserts. If I hit the seats I can hear the high pitch squeak right where the inserts holes are

Ok so it wasnt the rear seat headrest, the squeaky noise is coming from the latch where the passenger back seat locks on to. It seems to be slightly loose and is able to move on certain bumps.. any ideas on how to fix this??

On my previous RRSs the fix for this was to wrap the loop with the soft side of a velco fastening.

Correction. I found the culprit. My squeak is coming from
The knob for the 3rd row fan speed. If I tap
On the plastic around the knob or push on that area it squeaks. It's the most annoying squeak ever!

Mine is doing the exact same thing! It’s actually the P bracket the rear right seat connects to.

Yep mine is the bracket for sure. Dealer is coming to get it today so they'll hopefully fix it up!

@Flemincc I just got mine back from the shop. They said they had to put some felt behind the bracket and then secured it back in place. I guess we will see how long this lasts but it did stop the noise.
