United Kingdom 2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Corris Grey
UK / EU ownership profile is more geared to monthly payment type whether personal or company........

Not much chance of any hire company accepting back something drastically different to that delivered

I know that i have posted this video else where but to answer your question - i would hazard a guess that the answer is Bronco.

You're 100% right!! I totally forgot about the latest competition. My comment was more around how I almost played into the hype from the dealerships that the Defender is selling out quick due to demand...but the numbers of unmoved stock units tell a different story. And they (dealerships) kept trying to sell me on their current stock when I repeatedly told them I want to custom order a 2021.

Gotta admit both the Bronco and the Jeep "look" fun. I've got a 55 year old coworker who loves his Jeep. Having no top on it (nothing but sky) and driving through the beach cities of LA County, I totally get it. But then I rode in it for 4 hours in LA traffic and actually got near sick of it..especially in the back seat.

And I'm not turning this into a "let's-bash-the-competition" thread because hey, to each their own. '21 L663 X-Dyn HSE P400 Carpathian

I built a First Edition 3.0L on CarWow yesterday afternoon. No extras, just the basic car.

This morning I have my 5 offers. Only one dealership offered any sort of discount and that was only £600 off the RRP.

Maybe sales are way better on the up engined model?

Use Drive The Deal - you get better discount immediately.

Got a bit confused with drive the deal when I looked at SE spec 110.

This seems a bit cheap for Windsor leather. Confused

And free adaptive cruise? Shocked

Also had a mooch on Autotrader, that’s a lot of 2.0d cars to shift. Lions share at LR dealers, with some weird specs and at pretty strong money!

Well listening to the doom and gloom about the economy from the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the various political pundits on this evenings national news it doesn’t look as if folk will be splashing their cash around in the near future..

I wonder if JLR and other car manufacturers will be reviewing their prices across the board?

Question - What is the “Cross car beam” in the Safety section in DSL’s post?

This is the beam that runs across the dash - has DEFENDER cast into it at the passenger side, dashboard and infotainment screens are attached to it. Optionally available in 2 colours IIRC Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
