GAP or equivalent tool for New Defender?
Is anyone aware of any tool we owners can use to dive into the programming of the Defender? There are several things that I'm looking to change, like the interior light functions with doors opening/closing, the volume levels of the parking sensors etc.

South Africa 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Alpine White
I tried my GAP tool on my mate's ND earlier - it said something along the lines of 'Cannot find High Speed Can', and when I read the Faults, it thought it was seeing a Petrol i6 engine.

So not compatible at the moment, I'd say. --

not quite a GAP tool, but I see Matzker has an electronic gadget for the EAS: https://www.matzker.de/Technik-Zubehoer/fu...:6644.html

"Electronic Handling and Off-Road Kit – New Defender
The Electronic Handling and Off-road Kit enables you to take full advantage of your adjustable height air suspension. It can be used to set the New Defender 28 mm lower on the road and 30 mm higher off-road. On the motorway, that reduces air resistance and perceptibly improves stability. Reduced roll and improved road holding are also beneficial at elevated speeds on winding roads, thereby considerably forestalling intervention by the dynamic stability control system. At the off-road setting, the additional height provides greater ground clearance and improves the approach angle. Another important application is when driving over poor roads and paths, where the on-road position of the New Defender can also be raised. This dramatically improves driving comfort, because it provides for greater spring travel. The vehicles absorbs heavy road impacts and makes them silky smooth. This product is available for all New Defenders with air suspension. The kit includes our control unit and a wiring harness. When placing your order, please give us the chassis number (VIN) of your New Defender. A TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) component certification is pending. We will be glad to arrange to have your vehicle certified on an individual basis according to §21 of the German Road Traffic Registration Ordinance (StVZO). The cost of registration can vary depending on the scope of the modifications and will be agreed in advance. Installation 60 labour units (10 labour units correspond to 1 working hour)."

A bit expensive at 1.485,00 EUR Whistle --

Would love to change some programming, too.

Two things very much annoying to me
- top speed limitation
- Cruise control speed reduction on steering wheel angle
