Stick a towel on the seat before parking your monkey boy ass on it.
 Get a set of M&M seat covers as you will get a few bob for them second hand if you sell them, mine have stood up to salt water from my wetsuit and waders from retrieving the boat. Also you can wash them. Use a leather nourisher on the leather or it will dry out with white salt stains which was to much hassle for me, hence the seat covers. |

Hmmmm, good point there Bri.... they do sell second hand for a lot of dough. I might just go in that direction.
I think maybe my brain is cooking out here and that is why I am not thinking of things like that.

I can recommend M&M's and although the grey ones fade a bit, it's better than the sun fade on the leather

I think I need to make 2 lists now..... a 'realistic list' and a 'Lotto win list' lol. Why don't the government pay me enough!!!

Some good points coming out here.
The most cost effective one is also sounding the best ........ Pom would one oiled up girl be enough? I am worried that the second seat wouldn't get as good a coating at the first..... and less on the 3rd...4th etc. Maybe I need to persuade 5 girls to make sure the job is done properly.

Budgie smugglers don't hold much sea water....use a tea towell.
I've got Melvill and Moons but you'll need covers for your covers because they're so smart.
Autoglym also do an excellent leather treatment, so much so I use it on the leather sofa in our conservatory.....Good stuff. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

True true, But the amount of surface water on my biceps alone could fill a swimming pool...... Might have t start cutting back on the gym
Looks like M&M are the way ahead...... New question.... Anyone know of a good loan shark?

I need covers also. I'm lucky if my Tesco £2 jobs last the morning
I'd heard good reports about the genuine LR seat covers, I wonder how they compare on price and quality to the Exmoor trim ones. How about getting one of those racing bucket seats you see, they look great although they maybe uncomfortable - I wouldn't mind one Anyone know what they are called & cost! |

I have used genuine LR Waterproofs in my TD5 Disco and Defenders and have them in my Puma. They may seem expensive but the seats underneath are kept like new and the covers are washed rarely and come up like new too. When you sell your vehicle they attract around 70% of what you paid on Ebay so they maybe not as expensive as you yhought? Nothing else fits as well but sometimes i wonder why i maintain the seats as new for the next owner to enjoy.... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I've got genuine covers thrown in on the deal on mine - always worth trying to wrangle a set. Steve.

na then Glyn, the best protection is genuine LR waterproof covers, they will last you years mate
