I have my gas bottle under the inside rear wing mounted on a ‘U’ plate that fits between the chassis and the wing.
I didn’t have to make any holes as there are some there to use already but had to shorten the cross strut and refit it to the mouth ... cheap as chips and out of the way. The big camping gas cylinders (2.75kg 907 bottle) fit in the mount and can be fitted/removed easily.
