Make sure you use a good body shop, heard many stories of paint peeling off galv even when it has been etch primed etc. Dunsfold DLR don't spray over galv anymore unless customer is adamant. Doors should be ok if treated properly from new - Supertrol is the stuff to use on the inside, used by car manufacturers for years, is vibration and "slam" resistant Thumbs Up E-Bay for doors Whistle A few people have also eased the door edges back and slipped in a plastic lining in between the steel door frame and ali panels!

Thick black stuff that stays on for life - this should be the right can but worth checking Thumbs Up http://www.grampianfasteners.com/Products.aspx?Cat=15183020

tbh boys mt td5 doors have lasted 10 years so new doors with waxoil etc will last better. all new doors seem to be made with a barrier / silkoflex seal between th frame and the skin.
