Full length roofrack fitting question
Has anyone here fitted a full length rack (such as a Hannibal) to a 110 DC with an Ifor Williams canopy?

I have in mind doing this, but the problem is that the rear flap of the IW canopy is full width (and I want to keep it that way) which means that the usual method of using ladders to hold up the back of the rack is not possible. The IW canopy is not strong enough to be load bearing, so it seems to me that the options are:-

1) a custom support inside the canopy

2) a custom support outside the canopy (a bit like the back hoop of a full external cage)

3) a full external cage (out of my price range unfortunately)

4) using the short ladders of a Hannibal but at the side rather than the back of the rack.

I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas, and if anyone has already done this I would love to know how you did it! In particular if anyone can comment on the feasibility of option 4 I would be grateful.

Also, any solution has to be compatible with my Sonic spare wheel carrier.

Thanks

Richard, thank you!

I can't find any mention of it on the Patriot website, but have found it on a reseller's website. I had no idea that this option was available; it's just what I was after.

Now I just have to save my pennies!
