Thanks Martin, still not had a real world test - only just poodling around to test EGT gauge functionality.
Recently completed...…. Test wiring for heated seats Pull cables for electric fan Fit & Test replacement speedometer (broke original trying to remove STOOPID green lenses  )
Fit & Test replacement Fuel gauge & Temp gauge (VDO) Fit & calibrate Rev counter (VDO) as Fourby unit packed in after a week 
Replacement dash bulbs - really annoying - VDO rev counter has different bulbs to the other VDO gauges so illumination isn't consistent across the 3 gauges 
Dash still in pieces with the following on the 'to do' list...…… Extend wiring from Lower RH switches for fog light switch to MUD CONSOLE location Extend wiring from Lower RH switches for Hazard light switch to MUD CONSOLE location Extend wiring from Main Binnacle for clock to MUD CONSOLE location Extend wiring for dash lighting to MUD CONSOLE location Complete electric fan wiring (& test) Fit Raptor Binnacle Sub Frame Refit dash & binnacle Cut Dash & fit sub frame for MUD CONSOLE Complete wiring for Switched live / Earth / Dash lighting to switches & gauges in MUD CONSOLE Install new radio unit Finally fit the completed MUD CONSOLE Fit RAM mount for phone & cable for rear USB on radio (cable route through ash tray replacement coin tray) Fit MUD TRAY around gear lever location & fit wiring for heated seats (the tray provides a cable route & switch location for the seat wiring) 2000 D2 TD5 - ahhh bless 2006 D3 - no longer with us and sadly missed 1997 300tdi d90 - now with electrics that work! - now with a brand new custom made soft top fitted …...…...............….new chassis now all fixed and driving like new 2010 D4 alas no more, but a lovely colour (Nara) 2016 D4 battery magically fixed with NOCO charger |

New use for the Ram Mount!!!
