[Wanted] Puma factory speakers

Hi everyone.

My 2010 90CSW came with radio prep from the factory. A PO has fitted a simple head unit and two speakers.

I’m no audiophile, but a little improvement would be very welcome - plus Bluetooth is sorely missed.

As I like my cars standard (and as the budget is very tight after buying the thing), I thought an easy solution would be to upgrade to the OEM premium system. Which I think consists of:

Headunit: Alpine CDE-133BT / DH12-70447-BA
Subwoofer: Alpine SWE-1200LR / DH12-18808-BA
Speakers: Land Rover DH12-18808-AA
Tweeters: Land Rover *unknown*
Microphone: *unknown*

Unfortunately I can’t find the part numbers on microcat.

I’m hoping that it will all be plug and play with the exception of the subwoofer.

Anyway... starting with the cheaper bits, I wondered if anyone had a set of standard speakers for sale?

I’m looking for the two dash speakers, the two rear quarter speakers and two tweeters.

If anyone has a set please let me know - there’s a few on Facebook for peanuts but none that are nearby/willing to post.

It wasn’t showing on a 2010, but when I looked in the 2013 onwards section in the link you shared they all popped up.

So folks: after the premium speakers listed above (that would have come with a factory Bluetooth-fitted XS) I’ll also be on the hunt for a microphone (LR040865) and then a LR-specific version of the alpine sub.

I think I can help you out, I have recently removed all the 6 speakers and rear pods from my 2015 defender, I will take a look at the weekend and send you some pictures, I’m sure we can sort something out and I’m happy to post

Hi - thank you.

Looking at the code numbers, I think that these are the standard speakers rather than the slightly more premium ones, but regardless they look lovely and should be a really nice improvement over the two I have at the moment so I would be delighted with them.

Can you remember what head unit was in the car when you bought it? As I might look for one to match - ideally an Alpine one with Bluetooth and a microphone.

Hi it was an alpine cdt-173bt headset with blue toothe for the phone, I still have the headset in the defender and really like it

did you sort out the wiring?

I have the genuine alpine unit but with the standard speakers and no subwoofer. Really hoping there is the subwoofer plug hidden somewhere
