AS10

Hi, I would like to deactivate the immobilizer, but keep the alarm on my Defender. I would also like the possibility to only use the key to open doors and hopefully turn off the alarm in case my FOB don't work.
I have a Nanocom and I think I got most of it to work this way. But the alarm goes on when I open the doors when using the key. I have disabled plip and passive immobilizer.
Is it possible to have it working as I want?

If you want to be able to open the door with the key and stop the alarm going off you need to look for the key disarm in (I think) settings group 2 and change the setting.

you need to make sure you have a genuine land rover CDL 4 wire motor to be able to do this.
Key disarm will do the job, but you need that part above to send that information.

If you don't have the ultrasonic sensor, breaking the glass and pulling the lock up from the inside will do the same thing as key disarm. Might not be what you really want as the alarm won't sound. The defender has migrated, leaving the owner behind.
