Starting Problems
I have a 2012 2.2, with about 21K miles. I haven't had it long, but the only way I can get it to crank is turn turn the key on. Wait for the glow plug light to go out(you try to start it then, nothing happens). I turn the key back off, then on and it always starts up. Whats going on, or what am I doing wrong?

I have also shot a video of this, if that helps...

Thank you

Check the tightness of the relays in their connectors under the seat. Thumbs Up

I tired the relays, they are all pushed in tightly.

I've been messing with it enough to determine that if I don't press the unlock on the immobilizer(if its not set), I have to go into the on then off again exercise. If I preemptions the unlock it fires on the first turn. Will changing the batteries in the FOB correct this? Or do I need to go into a different direction?

Do you have a second fob? If yes, have you tried starting the vehicle with it?

I have one fob that starts my vehicle as it should and a second fob that only operates in a similar way to what you describe. I replaced fob batteries, tried re syncing the fob, but no change. Posted on the forum about this, but didn't get a solution. Tried a main dealer, but they wanted my 90 (MY 2012) in for investigation at their hourly rate, so I decided to live with a second fob that doesn't do what it should. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

Good point. I only have 1 Fob. I’ll order another. I’ll also see if I can use the Nanocom to to reprogram my current Fob too.
Thanks

After doing more research and messing with my Nanocom, in the 10AS, set the passive imbolize off. It fixed my problem. Help this can help others.
